Katy Wood, a native to northeast Iowa, is the Director of Assisted Living at Wellington Place.  She has over 11 years of experience in long term care, including charge nurse, lead nurse, lead nurse of a neighborhood, MDS coordinator and now assisted living director.  She has experienced love and loss for those whom she has cared for and strives to live each and every day to the fullest because no one can be guaranteed tomorrow.
