On Tuesday, June 16 the Decorah Rotary Club was afforded the opportunity to tour the new Gerdin Fieldhouse for Athletics and Wellness at Luther College. The Gerdin Fieldhouse is a vibrant hub for competition, recreation, and community that positions Luther as a top choice for student-athletes and recruits and reflects the legacy of Luther’s athletic tradition. It creates welcoming gathering spaces where students can meet, study, and strengthen their sense of community and supports the physical and mental health of all students and the extended Decorah community.
The Club extends its sincere thanks to Luther College Director of Athletics Megan Wilson, Head Softball Coach Renae Hartl, and Head Soccer Coach Chris Garcia-Prats for the generous gifts of their time, knowledge, and enthusiasm in sharing the new facilities with our members.
