Rotary District 5970 Governor Visit

All club members are strongly encouraged to attend this noon meeting, where we will be joined by the 2021-2022 Rotary District 5970 Governor Jeff Hassman. Governor Hassman will be sharing information about new initiatives in District 5970 as well as his goals and objectives over the ongoing Rotary year.

Governor Hassman is a native of Cedar Falls, having received his undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) and his MBA from the University of Michigan. Prior to his enrollment at UNI he was a participant in the Rotary Youth Exchange. Following graduation he served in a variety of positions at John Deere involving international travel, followed by time working in Madrid as a management consultant. He presently leads the international consulting business CVP Advisors with a focus on business develpment strategies, manufacturing, operations, and renewable technologies. In addition to his involvement with Rotary, his long record of volunteer service includes a term on the Board of Directors for the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa. He is currently a member of the Cedar Falls Community Schools Board of Education and is a board member of Cedar Valley TechWorks, Inc.

Governor Hassman enjoys international travel and is fluent in Spanish, Dutch, and German. He and his spouse Maripili have four grown children.
